A pallet of logs does not cost the same to deliver in Northampton as it does in Cornwall, so we won't invent a national price. Tell us your postcode and what you burn, and we'll come back with what we can get to you, who delivers it, and what it costs. You order only if that price is worth it.

How it works, for now
- You send your postcode and whether it's a stove, an open fire, or the odd weekend fire.
- We reply with a price — the species and quantity, how it arrives, and what it costs including delivery.
- You say yes or no. This page does not take payment.
What a quote covers
Kiln-dried hardwood, cut to a length we'll state on the quote, dried below 20% moisture. The usual order is a crate or a set of nets — not a single bag. We won't quote a size we can't send.
If you only need one bag for this weekend, a garden centre or a local yard will be faster than us, and we'd rather say so than take your money and disappoint you.
Delivery
Priced for your postcode, not advertised as free. A crate arrives by lorry, usually to the kerbside, and needs a flat place to be set down. If your street can't take that, tell us — a smaller load may be the honest answer, or we may not be able to help. We'd rather say so before a lorry is booked than after.
Dry wood
Wet logs waste money and soot up the flue. The wood we intend to supply is kiln-dried below 20% moisture, which is the level the Ready to Burn scheme tests for.
The certification belongs to the supplier who dries and packs the wood, not to this website. Your quote will name who is delivering it and their Woodsure number if they have one. We don't have a certification number of our own to print, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
If you live in a smoke control area, you can only burn wood in an exempt appliance. Check your area before ordering — we'll help if you're not sure.
Questions before you ask
- Why are there no prices on this page?
- Because delivery is the biggest variable and we don't have final supplier pricing yet. Publishing a national "from £X" that changes by postcode, or that we can't actually hold, would be worse than showing nothing. Ask, and you'll get a real number.
- Do you deliver to my postcode?
- We're confirming coverage area by area. Send your postcode and we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you — including when the answer is no.
- Do you hold your own stock?
- No. Orders are fulfilled by the supplier who dries and packs the wood, and we'll name them on your quote. We're not going to claim vans and a yard we don't have.
- Is the wood certified?
- Wood sold in volumes under 2 cubic metres in England has to be certified at 20% moisture or less. That certification sits with the supplier, and we'll name them and their number on the quote rather than wearing a badge that isn't ours.
- Can I collect?
- Not at the moment — there's no yard to collect from. Delivery only.
